Janet Arzt, CFA > Founding Partner
Janet Joyce Arzt, CFA is Founder and Managing Partner of Parere Advisory, an independent consulting firm advising family offices on infrastructure, development and strategy. Parere Advisory specializes in discovering, reviewing and presenting infrastructure options while serving as a primary point of contact for the family during all stages of the office development. Parere Advisory has advised multi-generational as well as newly-formed family offices in the development of areas such as operations, governance, and investment strategy.
Prior to founding Parere Advisory, Janet served as Chief Executive Officer of a newly-launched family office in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she built out and oversaw investments and operations for the family and its businesses. Prior to joining the family office, Janet served as President of Mudrick Capital Management, a $3.5 billion distressed debt hedge fund based in New York City, where she oversaw all non-investment functions and was also responsible for leading strategic initiatives. Janet has also held various roles at other investment firms including multi-strategy hedge fund, York Capital Management, and investment advisor, Morgan Creek Capital Management. She began her Wall Street career in the investment banking program at Merrill Lynch after receiving a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
Janet is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and a contributor to Forbes.com. In 2020, Janet was named one of the “Top 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds” by The Hedge Fund Journal in association with Ernst & Young. Janet also serves on non-profit boards including the Finance Committee of The Women’s Initiative, the Advisory Board of the McIntire School of Commerce and the Board of Directors of the National Charitable Endowment. She is also a guest lecturer at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Jamie Salaki > Director
Jamie Salaki is a Director of Parere Advisory where she brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and operations within the financial services industry. Before joining Parere, she founded a consulting firm that delivered strategic financial and accounting services to a diverse client base, including hedge funds, multi-family offices, and large institutional firms, including Blackstone Asset Management. In these roles, she provided advisory support, served as an outsourced accounting and finance professional, and played a key role in building and launching Kyndle Capital, a multi-family office.
Earlier in her career, Jamie spent more than a decade at Greenlight Capital, a long-short hedge fund and fund-of-funds manager, where she served as Controller. Her responsibilities spanned fund accounting and operations for the various investment entities and financial planning, operations and accounting for the management company and family office. While at Greenlight, she managed critical relationships with service providers such as prime brokers, banks, accountants, PEOs, and technology vendors.
Jamie began her career in public accounting at Ernst & Young, where she worked in the audit and advisory division. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland. Jamie has also served as a director for the Kyndle offshore funds and on the board of a non-profit organization.
Molly Bell > Senior Associate
Molly Bell is a Senior Associate at Parere Advisory, where she partners with families to build intentional and enduring family office organizations. Her work focuses on Human Capital Advisory, guiding clients in designing effective team structures, defining roles and responsibilities, and implementing sustainable hiring and performance strategies that align talent with long-term family and enterprise goals.
Molly brings more than a decade of experience across family office advisory, investment management, and financial technology. Before joining Parere, she was an Investment Associate at Manchester Capital Management, a multi-family office, where she supported portfolio management, conducted investment research, and advised on intergenerational wealth and governance. Previously, she served as a Senior Engagement Manager at SS&C, leading cross-functional teams to deliver technology and operational solutions for hedge funds and asset managers. Molly holds a B.S. from Bentley University and currently resides in Washington D.C.
Fanny Eaton > Associate
Fanny Eaton is an Associate of Parere, where she brings a unique blend of experience spanning private equity backed ventures, founder-led businesses, and high-touch client environments.
Prior to joining Parere, Fanny led business development for a premium equine nutrition company catering to top equestrian clients, including Olympic athletes and top-level riders. Her work focused on developing a deep understanding of their unique needs to deliver tailored solutions and drive meaningful results. Fanny also has experience as an Executive and Personal Assistant for a CEO of a private equity backed firm. She started her career in the entertainment industry with roles at NBCUniversal and United Talent Agency.
Fanny holds a B.A. in Communications & Media Studies from Goucher College, with a minor in Business Management. During her time at Goucher she studied abroad in London, where she deepened her global perspective and interest in international business and culture.
Katie Marr > Associate
Katie Marr brings experience in accounting, finance, risk management, and financial operations across the financial services industry. Prior to joining Parere, Katie worked at Goldman Sachs in the Partner Family Office within the Wealth Management group. In this role, she provided financial and operational support to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families as they navigated estate planning, wealth transfer, liquidity, and operational decisions. She partnered with investment, philanthropic, and risk management teams to align portfolio management, giving strategies, and liquidity planning with client objectives. Katie coordinated with tax and legal advisors on complex U.S. and international matters and prepared consolidated net worth statements, cash flow analyses, and estate flow charts to provide timely and highly personalized client support.
Earlier in her career, Katie worked in Deloitte’s Risk & Financial Advisory practice, where she advised clients on financial reporting processes and worked as a forensic accountant supporting investigations and regulatory matters. During her time at Deloitte, she analyzed financial records, tax data, and transactional activity to assess financial and operational risk and support financial crimes investigations.
Katie holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Virginia.
Nicole Molina > Executive Assistant
Nicole Molina joined Parere Advisory as an Executive Assistant in 2023 bringing with her 15+ years of experience working as an Executive Assistant within the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs. For two years prior to GS, Nicole worked as a Marketing Coordinator at an Architectural firm in New York City. Today, she provides executive support to Janet helping to streamline procedures and coordinate special projects. She helps to plan, execute, and monitor all meeting and travel logistics which ensures a smooth daily operation of the firm. Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communication from Baruch College: The City University of New York; graduating cum laude with double minors in Marketing and Psychology.
Tatum Galvin > Intern
Tatum Galvin is a fourth-year student-athlete at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, majoring in Quantitative Finance with a minor in Data Science. Her coursework includes corporate finance, asset management, institutional investment management, and data systems. She is also a Division I athlete on the University of Virginia women’s soccer team, consistently ranked among the top five programs nationally.
Prior to joining, Tatum worked as a Summer Analyst at I Squared Capital, where she assisted with infrastructure investment analysis, financial modeling, and diligence on services and energy-related transactions. Her work focused on evaluating company fundamentals, conducting market research, and supporting transaction materials.

Anupam Kathpalia
Anupam Kathpalia is Director in the Investments Office at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he has worked since 2015. In this role, he helps manage the institution’s long-term investment assets, contributing to manager research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management across a broad range of asset classes. His work supports Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s long-term investment strategy and the institution’s mission of ending cancer for life.
Prior to joining Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Anupam held roles in investment management at Hall Capital Partners and Stamos Capital Partners, where he gained experience across public and private markets and institutional portfolio management.
Anupam graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He has formerly served on the boards of several nonprofit and community organizations, including Project Open Hand, Help for Children, and local chapters of the University of Michigan Alumni Association in San Francisco and New York. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Inversion Summits and Parere Advisory, and sits on multiple Limited Partner Advisory Committees across investment strategies.

Erika McEneny
Erika McEneny is a Managing Director at Permian Investment Partners where she leads the firm’s marketing and investor relations effort. Prior to joining Permian, Erika worked at Mudrick Capital Management LP on the Business Development and Investor Relations team. Prior to Mudrick, Erika worked at BlackRock, where she was a member of the Institutional Client Business team covering US-based Endowment, Foundation and Family Office clients, and started at BlackRock as a Product Specialist within the external hedge fund investment team. Erika began her career as an Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Erika graduated magna cum laude from Lehigh University in 2009. Erika founded Changing Leads Foundation, a 501c3 charity dedicated to providing access to equestrian activities for underprivileged youth and sits on the Board of Directors for Parere Advisory, family office advisory business based in a Charlottesville, VA.
Brett Snidtker
Brett Snidtker serves as Chief Investment Officer of Prairie Management Group (PMG), a single-family office based in the Chicago area. He is responsible for asset allocation, investment due diligence, liquidity management, leadership of the investment team, and contributes to estate planning and the long-term strategic direction of the office. In addition to his investment responsibilities, Brett co-led a comprehensive restructuring of PMG, encompassing ownership alignment, instituting a profits interest, modernization of investment entities, and the refinement of the firm’s governance structure.
Prior to joining PMG, Brett was Director of Public Investments at the University of Illinois Foundation, where he oversaw the sourcing, evaluation, and monitoring of external managers across public market strategies. Earlier in his career, he spent more than twelve years at Cambridge Associates in Boston, most recently as Strategy Head for Event-Driven and Cross-Capital Structure strategies on the Hedge Fund Research team.
Brett holds a degree from Northeastern University and an MBA from Boston College.
